A user is anyone who runs simulations or modifies project parameters. Viewer accounts—for stakeholders who only need to review results—are free and unlimited on every plan.

Can I add Pro extensions later?

Yes. You can start with Core and upgrade to Enterprise at any time to access Terrain Pro, Voltage Pro, Soiling Pro, and PlantPredict 3D.

How does PlantPredict compare to PVsyst?

How does PlantPredict compare to PVsyst?

PlantPredict is a modern cloud-native alternative to PVsyst. It has many capabilities not available in PVsyst including support for terrain following trackers and a full REST API / Python SDK. It runs concurrent simulations at scale without local hardware constraints.

Can I import my existing projects from PVsyst into PlantPredict?

Yes, PlantPredict has a tool that imports your existing PVsyst projects and translates them into native PlantPredict projects automatically. Upload a PVsyst project .zip, and your project (.PRJ) becomes a PlantPredict project. Each calculation variant (.VC#) becomes its own prediction. Modules (.PAN), inverters (.OND), weather (.MET), and 3D shade scenes (.SHD) all come across automatically. Learn more.
